The Medium - Trailer Review
We are introduced to a dark and eerie setting with the mysterious-sounding music and the character’s dialogue, “It all starts with a dead girl, a forest, the moon, scent of pines, and then… the gunshot” (Bloober Team). The character walks through an abandoned world; instead, she coincides with the real world and what appears to be the spirit world. It is interesting to see how Bloober Team incorporates their vision of a horror game while using dual reality gameplay, simultaneously rendering two worlds in one.
“The Medium”-coming holiday 2020- the game requires you to use your “Psychic abilities to solve puzzles spanning both worlds, uncover deeply disturbing secrets, and survive encounters with The Maw – a monster born from an unspeakable tragedy” (Bloober Team). Bloober Team is known for its production of fear and adrenaline rushing capabilities when making games, that said. Hopefully, they’ll deliver on their promise.
